Looking to add some colour to your knitting? Take 10 of your favourite colours and cast on for this cozy blanket for a little one. Will you pick some spring colours to cheer a winter day, or shades of a single colour?

PATTERN NOTES
A blanket worked at and in one piece in 10 colours with lace panels and garter stitch edges.

GAUGE
25 stitches and 28 rows to 4 inches/10 cm square in pattern–gauge is not critical for a blanket, but can effect quantity of yarn used.

TECHNIQUES USED
Must know how to knit, purl, yarn over, and work stitches through back loops and work central double decreases. Will be working garter and lace stitches.

MATERIALS
Cascade 220 Sport Superwash
100% Superwash merino wool
125 m/ 136.5 yd, 50 g/ 1.75 oz skein
MC: 2 skeins; CC1 through CC9: 1 skein each
