Yarn: Sweet Fibre - Merino Twist DK (DK weight; 100% superwash Merino wool; 238 m / 260 yds per 115 g skein) Shade: Tea Leaves; 7 skeins
Gauge: 18 sts & 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” over stocking stitch on 4.5 mm needles after blocking.
NOTE: Due to the construction of Canady the gauge given is an average taken across several sections.
Needles: 4.5 mm / US 7 circular needle, 80 cm / 32” length 4.5 mm / US 7 circular needle, 150 cm / 60” length
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: Stitch markers, locking stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle, t-pins and blocking wires
Notes: Canady is constructed modularly and finished with a border worked in the round. Please refer to construction schematic for order and direction of knitting. Stitches are referred to as either joining stitches or working stitches; working stitches will include the single stitches to the outsides of the markers defining the working section.
