Camille the Cavoodle is a girly little puppy who always manages to get into mischief. Luckily she loves a bath and a groom!

Camille the Cavoodle is a part of my Puppy Friends collection – there’s six cute designs available as individual patterns or as an e-book.

Camille is an intermediate amigurumi (crochet) pattern written in English using US (American) terminology. The pattern includes detailed instructions in an easy to follow layout but a knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi is essential.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Camille is approx. 12cm long.

You will need:

• 2.5mm hook/C-2 (US)
• 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted, 50g ORANGE, 25g in WHITE
• BLACK 4ply yarn or embroidery thread
• A pair of 9mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.

• When changing colour, pull through the new colour on the stitch before you need it. This will ensure that you have the correct colour yarn on the hook for the upcoming stitch.

• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.

• I’ve used the following yarns: o ORANGE = Ricorumi DK by Rico Design in col. 023 Nude o WHITE = Ricorumi DK by Rico Design in col. 002 Cream

• I have used safety eyes but you may choose to embroider. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
