This doily pattern makes a great optical illusion of four cameo girls with joined hands! It is multi-colored and the original pattern suggests the following colors in size 30 thread (though other colors and sizes could certainly be used):

1 Ball Cream (skin)
1 Ball Iridescent (bouquet)
1 Ball Pink (skirt)
1 Ball Fuchsia (bodice/bonnet)
1 Ball Tinted Pink & Yellow (sleeves & neckline)
1 Ball White (joining motif/edging

It is made in multiple pieces (body, sleeves, arms, bouquet, bonnet, joining motif) that are joined as you go.

Pattern note: The bonnet instructions include a “sdc” stitch, which is an old-fashioned term for a hdc, according to many crochet forums.
