Camellia in a Teacup is a lovely, crescent shaped shawl worked in two colors of Biscotte Yarns La Douce MCN. This original design by Kirsten Kapur combines a mosaic stitch pattern inspired by teacups with stripes and lace. Mosaic stitches are a wonderful way to achieve a colorwork effect while only using one color per row.

This pattern is worked from the top down, beginning with a garter tab cast on. On two-row color changes it is not necessary to cut the yarns. Simply carry the yarns loosely up the side.
