Calver is worked in an easy repeat pattern, and is suitable for men and women. It is worked in the round, changing colour at the end of each round.

The back loop only double crochet ribbing is worked first, and then the main body of the hat, which has an optional pompom.

Calver can be worn with the ribbing turned up, or down for a slouchier look.
