This is a very simple pattern for fingerless mittens. It was made for a man, size M hands circa. Use bigger needles for bigger sizes, they would normally be a bit big for females. But playing with needles and gauges you can still find the right fit. I added a little touch to the finished result with a small detail with a button, just to finish it up so it looks nice. I think it is sometimes difficult to knit for other people, especially when they are not near so I can try out the knit for them. This is why I made the ribbing, a closer fit that will sit nicer and feel nicer for different sized hands.
