California Grass was inspired by the lovely yarn from Curated Yarn Co. and the hot and dry state I grew up in. I lived in an area of California that has had water conservation for many, many years. The side of the road, peoples lawns, and the hills surrounding our town all turn this beautiful golden color and is usually haphazardly cut.

California Grass is a cuff down pattern with a simple ribbed pattern that is easy to memorize and represents the different lengths of dry grass blades. I hope this pattern represents a great summer memory for you!

Tapestry needle
Stitch Markers

GAUGE
17 stitches by 24 rows = 2 inches (5 cm) in stockinette

Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
