My granddaughter asked me to knit her a sweater. She drew a picture of what she wanted and asked if I could do it. How could I say no! It is a slightly cropped, basic drop-shoulder design with the back hem longer than the front hem. The front and back are started separately, then joined in the round and worked to the armholes. The front and back are then worked flat to the neck shaping. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and worked to the cuff. The hems, cuffs, and neck are worked using the long-tail tubular cast on and bind off.
