Cadaquès is a top with a V-neckline and cabled straps. Knitted with a vegetable yarn, your knit will be soft, fluid and fresh. Perfect for the summer season or midseason!
It is knitted from top to bottom, starting with one side then the other. We connect the two pieces to knit the rest of the body in the round with a few increases on the side to give it a slightly flared shape at the bottom. You can also omit the increases to have a straight tank top.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3.5 mm/US 4 (strap), 3.75 mm/US 5 (body), cable needle, crochet, cables to hold live stitches, 2 stitches markers, waste yarn in contrasting color.

NOTES: the pattern is knitted in Kaléido (92 % bambou, 8 % lin) from La Droguerie color Bleu saphir.

Recommended ease: 0 to 2 inch or 0 to 5 cm of ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number. It is of course possible to adapt and knit a size with more or less ease than recommended. If you hesitate between two sizes, prefer the size below.
Sample is shown in size 4 with 1 inch or 3 cm of positive ease and slightly flared shape.

Be careful because the vegetable fibers tend to relax.
The choice of fiber will also affect the drape of your top. Silk, bamboo will have a beautiful, fluid drape.
Cotton and linen will have less drape because they are fibers without elasticity.

Cadaquès est un top avec une encolure V et des bretelles torsadées. Tricoté avec un fil végétal votre tricot sera doux, fluide et frais. Parfait pour la belle saison ou la mi-saison !
Il se tricote de haut en bas en commençant par un côté puis l’autre. On relie les deux parties pour tricoter le reste du corps en rond avec quelques augmentations sur le côté pour donner une forme légèrement évasée en bas. Il est possible de ne pas réaliser ses augmentations pour avoir un débardeur droit.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées n°3,5 (bretelles), n°3,75 (corps), un crochet, une aiguille à torsades, une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente et 2 anneaux marqueurs, un bout de fil contrasté.

NOTES : le modèle est tricoté dans la base Kaléido (92 % bambou, 8 % lin) de La Droguerie coloris Bleu saphir.
Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance d’environ 0 à 5 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisé. Si vous hésitez entre deux tailles, préférez la taille du dessous.
Il est présenté en taille 4 avec 3 cm d’aisance et le bas évasé.

Attention car les fibres végétales ont tendance à se détendre.
Le choix de la fibre aura également une incidence sur le tombé de votre top. La soie, le bambou auront un beau drapé, fluide.
Le coton et le lin auront moins de drapé car ce sont des fibres sans élasticités.
