A bit of a free spirited tunic in a sophisticated color palette.
This tunic is knitted from the bottom up and in the round, this contemporary piece with just a few stripes, an I-cord interest, a few buttons strategically placed and an asymmetrical front neckline is suitable even for a beginner knitter.
A fun project that is even more fun to wear~
Yarn:
Linen fingering weight yarn by www.yarnz2GO.com:
480/650/780/880/1000 yards in MC
180/190/200/220/230 yards in CC
Notions:
US size 5 needle (3.75mm) circular needle 32 (80.5mm) inches length. 2 stitch markers.
Stitch holder.
Scrap yarn.
Gauge:
9 sts and 14 rows in 2 inches in stockinette stitch.
How to videos are included for making an I-cord and where and how to place it to give that bit of an attitude.
Project suitable for a beginner knitter.
Abbreviations:
k = knit
p = purl
MC = main color
CC = contrasting color
k2tog = knit 2 stitches together (decrease) p2tog = purl 2 stitches together (decrease) SKP= slip stitch,k stitch, slip stitch over knit stitch pl m = place marker
sl m = slip marker
bo = bind off
