Cabled Wrist Warmers
As the weather begins to turn cool, this pair of wrist warmers is a wonderful way to keep your hands warm. With a lovely cable down the back of each hand as well as a couple of stripes for a splash of contrast color, these wrist warmers can be knit up in as little as one evening. Being such a quick knit, this makes for a fantastic last-minute gift! The Rowan Cashsoft DK used here is amazingly soft in your hands and is an absolute joy to knit.
The left and right wrist warmers are each worked somewhat differently in regards to the cable row and thumb openings. These fit small to medium sized hands.
The two wrist warmers are worked in such a way to make sure the cable is on the back of each hand.
FYI: Yarn stated in pattern should be Rowan RYC Cashsoft Baby DK. (Word “Baby” was inadvertantly left out.) However, any DK weight yarn will do.
This pattern is free, so if you enjoyed it, please consider getting involved with Global Knit, an organization that provides warm, hand knit and crocheted clothing to needy orphans around the globe. Thank you!
