Cabled Cowl Neck Sweater
Cozy up in the luxurious rolled collar and cabled texture of this long-sleeve pullover. It knits up surprisingly fast in a medium-weight yarn, and the cables are simple to work. Traditional seamed construction and set-in sleeves give this sweater a flattering style, and the generous collar is slightly shaped for a relaxed fit around the neck.
Skills Needed
Knit/purl, basic cables, working in the round, picking up and knitting, mattress stitch, setting in sleeves
Construction Notes
The front, back, and sleeves are worked in flat pieces, and the cables are worked on the front and back. The shoulders are joined, the sleeves are set in, and the sleeves and sides are joined. The collar is picked up and worked and can be worn folded to show the reverse stockinette (stocking) stitch side or draped casually.
