Cabled Alpaca Scarf

“Even though the ball band states “worsted”, the recommended yarn is more of a light worsted or sport weight. Gauge is not critical for this scarf pattern. 8 pattern repeats = 7.0” to 7.5” inches.“<p>I made this scarf using Plymouth Baby Alpaca Brush & size 8 US needles, casting on enough stitches for 5 repeats instead of the pattern’s 66. A friend made the scarf with fingering weight alpaca yarn on size 2US needles, casting on about 80 stitches.
