Fits a small dog, such as a small beagle, Jack Russell terrier, miniature American Eskimo Dog, etc.; will best fit a dog whose chest (measured at deepest point, behind the legs) is 19–19 1/2 inches around and whose back (measured from withers to base of tail) is 12 inches long.

Materials

• Approx 400 yds worsted-weight yarn in desired color
• Size 4 (3.5mm) double-point and 24-inch circular needles (or 2 sizes smaller than main needles)
• Size 6 (4mm) double-point and 16-inch needles or size needed to obtain gauge
• Cable needle
• Stitch markers
• Stitch holder

Gauge
22 sts and 40 rows/rnds = 4 inches/10cm in Welts pat with larger needles.
26-st Wide Cable measures 3 3/4 inches/9.5cm with larger needles.
