Cable & Rib Tea Cozy
About The Design:
This is an easy and quick-to-knit cable and rib tea cozy, using heavy worsted weight wool yarn. Knit smaller than a teapot’s circumference, the cozy stretches to snugly fit the teapot.
The pattern offers 2 sizes for 2-3 cup and 3-4 cup teapots. I’ve knit two samples in Brown Sheep Lanaloft Worsted and two samples in their Lamb’s Pride Worsted, both affordable, readily available, and made in the US!
The 2-3 cup size only needs about 38 gr of yarn, and the 3-4 cup size needs about 55 gr of yarn, which makes this project a way to use up those small amounts of stash yarns to knit up some gifts for the tea drinkers in your life!
