By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea. Made up of intarsia blocks, this afghan is sprinkled with seashore motifs on solid basketweave blocks. The blocks are sewn together and then embroidered with a whipstitch. The entire afghan is edged with garter stitch in a contrasting color.
