This small scarf, made in basic single crochet, is worked in natural tones of tweed yarns softened with wisps of fine mohair. Crocheted in a random strip sequence to blend the colors together for a hand-dyed effect, the scarf is trimmed with mother-of-pearl buttons that reflect the colors of the yarns.

Rowan Summer Tweed or similar worsted weight yarn in five colors:

Color A. 1 x 1.75 oz. (50g) skein
Color B. 1 X 1.75 oz. (50g) skein
Color C. 1 x 1.75 oz. (50g) skein
Color D. 2 x 1.75 oz. (50g) skein
Color E. 1 x 1.75 oz. (50g) skein

Rowan Kidsilk Haze or a similar light-weight yarn in two colors:

Color F. 1 x 1 oz. (25g) ball
Color G. 1 x 1 oz (25g) ball

Additional supplies: 40-60 assorted mother-of-pearl or other decorative buttons; large sewing needle and thread
