Button Bag
Button Bags are traditional toys for older babies, who love to pack and unpack oversized buttons. As smaller buttons may present a hazard, make sure they are securely sewn on. The bag is knitted from the inside out, and this kind of slipped-stitch double-knitting allows you to knit in the round with a pair of straight needles! Decorate with buttons, bells, or whatever you have handy. The buttonhole is intentionally loose for little fingers to practice on.
