Butterfly Wing Shawl
This garter stitch shawl is knit with short rows that echo the wings of a butterfly. I-cord edges frame the shawl for a smooth and easy to knit project. Two cakes of Bilum’s gradient yarn produce fascinating color changes, so you can let the yarn do all the work as you enjoy the relaxing garter stitch rows.

Gauge
22 sts & 58 rows = 4” / 10cm in garter stitch after blocking
Check your stitch gauge and try to get close to 22 sts = 4” / 10cm or 23 or 24 sts = 4” / 10cm if you’re using the recommended Bilum Loli yarn. This will make a nice crisp fabric.
If your gauge is a bit looser, you may require more yardage to complete the shawl.
