Butterfly Bouquet Afghan
by Carol Hegar
Butterfly Bouquet, #612. Two popular themes, butterflies and flowers, combine to make this dramatic afghan. Includes instructions to make a 42 inch square baby afghan from baby yarn, a 48 inch square child-size afghan from sport weight yarn and a 56 inch square adult size afghan.
Instructions include two versions of each size, a solid color panel version which will work up quickly, or a little more involved multi-color panel option as shown on the pattern booklet cover.
This afghan is made from our popular technique of sc in back lp of st and dropped dc worked in front lp of st 2 rows below (which forms the design)…what could be easier! There is also one rnd of treble crochet sts at center of afghan to form “petals.”
