The Butterfly Banner is created by cross stitching on top of a crocheted panel.

This pattern includes written instructions on how to create the panel, how to cross stitch the design, and how to mount and finish the piece.

This project is written so that even beginner crochet and cross stitchers can complete this project.

The piece uses 2 skeins of MC yarn (for panel and fringe) and scraps of yarn in 7 different colors to create the cross stitching.

The finished panel measures 14“ wide x 11” tall, not including fringe and hanging dowel.
