24 ¼”, (28 ¼, 32 ¼)
Length: 16 ½”, (18 ¼, 20)
Materials
- 250, (290, 330) yards of MC
- 145, (190, 220) yards of CC1
- 130, (170, 200) yards of CC2
- 2 buttons, ½”- ¾” diameter -Size 4 circular 24” length -Size 7 straight knitting needle -crochet hook size G or H -Scrap yarn, 1 stitch holder, stitch markers
For the Blue (CC1), Orange (CC2), and Brown (MC) Butterfly, I used Plymouth Royal Bamboo.
For the Baltic Blue (CC1), Ink Blue (CC2), and Duchess Purple (MC) Butterfly, I used Madelinetosh Tosh DK.
Gauge
20 sts and 26 rows = 4” on size 7 knitting needles in stitch pattern,
30 sts = 4” in rib on size 4 needles, unstretched.
