These butterflies rest under your beverage to wick up drips, and condensation and protect surfaces from heat and scratches. Knit in mosaic garter stitch, just one strand of color works every two rows while the other strand rests at the edge. Gauge and dimensions are provided with a Worsted-weight cotton yarn (knit to a DK-weight gauge). Choose colors that contrast well. Try your camera’s “black & white” setting to look at your yarns in grayscale and check the contrast between your selection(s). Both positive and negative charts are included in the pattern.
