NEEDLES
1 x US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle (32” / 80 cm) Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
GAUGE (after wet blocking, measured unstretched)
With US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle,
32 sts & 44 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch BurrowStitch:32sts=31⁄4”/8cm,36sts=31⁄2“ /9cm

Markers (2), tapestry needle, scissors, cable needle
PATTERN NOTE
These socks are worked toe-up. The instructions are written using the magic loop method with a circular needle.
N1 is the needle for sole, heel and calf, and N2 for instep and shin.
Starting from the toe, stitches on N1 are worked in Stockinette Stitch, then increases are made to create the gusset. On N2, Burrow Stitch is worked.
The heel is worked back and forth only on N1. Then, on the leg, all stitches (both N1 and N2) are worked in Burrow Stitch.

Both samples finish the foot section with 49 total rounds of Burrow Stitch. Depending on the length of the foot and leg, it is possible that one skein may not be sufficient.

パターンノート
トゥアップ, 輪針のマジックループを使用した方法で解説して いる.
N1 が足底, かかと, ふくらはぎ側, N2 が甲, すね側を編む.
つま先から輪で N1 では常にメリヤス編みを編み, 途中から まちを作るために増し目を開始する.
N2 では Burrow Stitch を編む. かかとは N1 のみで往復編 みをする. 脚で N1, N2 共に Burrow Stitch を編む.
