Nothing like a ghost town in the Southwest to inspire a design. Oatman, Az is an old ghost mining town that is now best known as a tourist trap on historic Route 66 with wild Burros. Although it was a profitable gold town through the 1950s, it was shut down due to the war efforts and the donkey’s that were used to haul equipment were released into the wild. Their descendants are still there today.
