The unusual spiral shape of the Burning Branch Shawl is generated naturally from the placement of increases. Leaf shapes grow in size by the same natural expanding process, highlighting the colors of Leyden.
Finished Size: about 14” deep after blocking
Yarn: 1 skein Valley Yarns Leyden (75% Superwash MerinoWool/25% Nylon, 100g/437yd) color 05
Needles: US size 4 (3.50mm) needles or size needed to get gauge
Other Materials: 6 stitch markers color A, 6 stitch markers color B
Gauge: about 6 sts = 1” in stockinette stitch before blocking
