Pattern Description from Folk Style: “Ann Budd was inspired by the Burma Rings Sweater by the late Barbara Venishnick on the cover of the Winter 2000/2001 issue of Interweave Knits. She used the concept of stacked rings to create a scarf that would literally wrap around the neck. The plush chenille yarn is rich shades of reds and purples give a sense of royalty - and feels much more luxurious around the neck than a stack of metal rings.”

Finished Size: About 3½“ (9 cm) wide and 82½” (209.5 cm) long.

Yarn: Chunky (#5 Bulky).
Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille (100% cotton; 98 yd (89 m)/50 g): #4212 blue-purple (A), 2 skeins; #9719 red-purple (B), #4021 dark red (C), #8166 bright red (D), and #4519 mauve (E), 1 skein each.

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): 40” (200 cm) circular (cir).

Note about gauge: “Exact gauge is not critical for this project, but differences in gauge may produce a scarf with different finished dimensions.”
