These seasonal flags have been popular because they can be made in many ways:
Garden Flag
Hanging on the door or wall

Large applique

Pillow: Thanks to Shaunna Hallsson for making a pillow version. She made 2 heads and 2 bowties, sewed them together and stuffed them. The ears could be done the same way.

This would also make a great applique on a baby blanket or sew two bunnies together, same as the pillow, but do not stuff. What a fun lovey for little ones!

Its great as a traditional bunny in white with pastels: Thanks to Anita Mills for this lovely sample.

Sassy colors: Thanks to Jackie Benjamin of “Hats and More by Jackie” for this vibrant version. She will be using this to decorate her elementary school classroom.

Materials
Yarn: Worsted yarn in colors of choice.
Sample: Warm Brown, pink, lime green, yellow, variegated, white, blue

Crochet Hooks: H, I hook

Miscellaneous: yarn needle, black embroidery floss or lightweight black yarn, two ½” buttons, sewing needle, black thread

Gauge: not necessary for this project

Finished size: 12” wide x 21.5” tall

Do they last? YES! I had one hanging outside for a month. It was in the sun and sprinklers and still looks new.
