This basket has a retro or vintage feel to me. It could be the colors I choose or the design. Either way it’s a large basket that will hold a ton of stuff. I love to use as a baby gift and fill it with baby essentials, but it has so many uses around the house!

Materials

• Yarn: Lily Sugar ‘n Cream in at least two colors. The basket is shown in five colors with the amounts used as follows: * 2 balls of blue (2.2oz) * 2 balls green (2.2oz) * 2 balls yellow (2.2oz) * 2 balls orange (2.2oz) * 4 balls brown (16oz)

• Hook: I/5.5 mm

• Notions: * Blunt needle for sewing * Scissors * Tape measure * Stitch markers

Sizing
* These measurements are approximated, and actual subjects
may vary.

• Gauge: 6 stitches x 6 rows = 2” x 2” * The finished size is 14” x 21”

* Spike Stitch: Insert hook into specified stitch, pull up a loop yarn over and pull through both loops.
