Buffalo Girls
This pattern includes charts and written instructions for Classic (skirt) and Casual (jeggings) Buffalo Girls. Dolls are knit in the round using double-pointed needles.
Like all Stitch & Share dolls, ‘Buffalo Girls’ are knit in one piece from the bottom-up. Stitches are picked up from the doll’s waist and the attached skirt is knit before stuffing. The buffalo plaid is worked using stranded knitting. Fast and fun to knit, these dolls are designed to be sturdy, safe, and perfect for even the littlest hands to hold. .
Worsted Weight dolls are approximately 6 x 3 inches, DK/Sport dolls are approximately 5.25 x 2.5 inches, and Fingering weight dolls are approximately 4.75 x 2 1/4 inches.
Exact gauge is not important. Choose a needle 2 or 3 sizes smaller than recommended on the ball band to create a dense fabric that will keep the stuffing hidden.
