Choose four colors of DK weight yarn and begin the blanket in the center as you increase toward the border. Bubble stitches and slip stitches form the blossoming colorwork motifs. These stitches are easy to knit and create a big colorful impact. Short rows and wavy stripes complete the border of this large blanket. It’s the perfect size for a cozy couch blanket or a lovely decorative work of art for your bed. The pattern includes several video links to assist with techniques like casting on, knitting the bubble stitch, short rows, knitting stripes, and weaving in ends. You can create a four color version just like the photographed sample or dive into your stash to customize the colors for a stashbusting multi-color blanket!
