Wrap yourself in the squishy Bubbles cowl to keep warm this winter.
The interesting texture is the result of combining stockinette stitch and i-cord sections. Instructions are provided for worsted weight yarn, but you can use any weight yarn and change the number of pattern repeats to adjust the size and make your perfect cowl.

Size
Finished circumference: 120 cm/48 in
Height: 19.5 cm/7.75 in
The size can be easily changed by working more or fewer pattern repeats.

Gauge (blocked)
Bubble Pattern: 18 sts and 23 rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.

Yarn
384 m/420 yds of worsted weight yarn
Shown in Malabrigo Worsted (100% merino wool, 192 m/210 yds per 100 g, colourway: Polar Morn).

Needles and Notions
5 mm (US 8) circular needle, 100 cm/40 in long
4.5 mm (US 7) circular needle, 100 cm/40 in long
1 stitch marker

Skills Needed
Long tail or tubular cast on, knit, i-cord, bind off in pattern or tubular, working in the round.
