A cozy, ballet inspired style. The fitted waist and cropped length make it practical for moving around and perfect for pairing with a high-waisted pant or skirt, while the bubble sleeves add a fun comfy twist.

Final garment measurements:
All of my garments are #sizeinclusive through a bust size of 62” including the intended ease in the design.
XS (S, M, L, 1XL)(2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)

40(44, 47, 50, 53)(56, 60, 63, 67)”
101.5(112,119.5,127,134.5)(142,152.5,160,170)cm

Garment is worn with 5-12” positive ease. Choose a garment measurement that is 5-12” larger than your bust measurement. Note that the pattern is intentionally designed with less ease in the larger sizes.

Yarn: My original sample was knit in Sincere Sheep Equity Sport, which is a discontinued base. Please see the below recommendations at various price points for alternatives, ordered from the most expensive per yard to the least. Note that I am suggesting DK weight yarns here, but you could knit this in either Sport or fingering held double as well, provided you achieve gauge.

I recommend a yarn with some nice drape to it. A merino + silk or alpaca blend would be nice! A pure merino would work well, too.

The gauge provides drape in itself, as the specific one for this garment is usually achieved with a heavier worsted yarn. One could use a heavier worsted, but note that your sweater will be a bit more structured and stiff if you do that.

Needles:
You will need 32-40” circular needles, along with shorter circular needles or double pointed needles if you are not using the Magic Loop method for the sleeves.

Main Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) for body
Ribbing Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) for ribbing (or 2-3 sizes smaller than main needle size used to achieve gauge.)
