Bryce Canyon is probably my favorite of the national parks. Growing up my family would go on annual camping trips all over the place and Bryce was always one of my favorite stops. A shawl inspired by this beautiful place had to be first on my list. :)

This shawl is worked in one piece and features a cable and lace pattern that is worked in a center panel bordered by stockinette side panels. The whole shawl is finished off in a cable/lace border.

This is the first shawl in my new four-shawl collection that will be released one at a time between November 2012 and January 2013. There will be four shawls inspired by U.S. National Parks that I visited growing up.

NOTE: This collection had previously been for sale for 17 with 1 going to nationalparks.org. It was getting too hard for me to keep track of it so I made the collection 16. Please do donate to nationalparks.org on your own, however, they’re a great organization!

All shawl patterns in the collection will include both charted and written instructions. Schematics of measurements can be viewed in the pattern photos on the pattern profiles.
