Bruges Lace Hairband
by Becky Skuse
Take your first steps in Bruges crochet by making this simple lacy hairband. It uses just two Bruges lengths or tapes and a 4ply cotton yarn for a modern vintage look. The lace effect comes from varying the number of stitches on each row of the tape, while the chain loops down the sides create a delicate edging. We used lengths of silky ribbon to form the ties that go under your hair, but you could easily crochet the ties instead if you prefer.
