The pattern assumes that you are familiar with broomstick lace crochet.
This broomstick lace baby blanket pattern can be worked up for both boys and girls. It has a nice ruffled edge, which you can omit if making for a boy if you like, but I like how the gray turned out.
The pattern provides a stitch multiple, so you can increase this to any size you want.
Warning: Do not leave the baby unattended with this blanket.
