Broni
Broni-socks - pretty cables for your pretty feet!
The pattern has instructions for size 64 and 72 stitches, both cuff down and toe up with written and charted instructions. As the cables pull in the fabric, the gusset is longer than normally to avoid the ankle part to be too tight.
The pattern is written both cuff down and toe up for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.
Yarn:
100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 420 m (440 yds)/100g.
The sample socks were knitted with Lang Yarns Jawoll, 209m/229 yds per 50g. One sock (64 sts) used app. 40 g, leg 18 cm/8” including cuff.
Needles etc:
2.25-2.75 mm/ US 1-2 circular needle, 80 cm/ 32” or longer
Cable needle, marker, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge:
34 sts x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking.
