The Brody Pullover was designed in honor of my son, Brody, as he celebrated a very special milestone…graduating from high school this past spring.

Inspired by his favorite thrift-store find, this sweater is my take on the classic oversized crewneck sweatshirts of the 90’s: relaxed, comfortable, and effortlessly cool.

Knit in De Rerum Natura Gilliatt, the pullover features subtle 1x1 ribbed details at the back shoulders, sides, and underarms, adding texture and structure to the simple, oversized silhouette. It’s an easy, everyday sweater designed to be lived in and loved…much like the well-worn sweatshirt that inspired it.

A little bit nostalgic, a little bit sentimental, and made especially for Brody.

NOTES: The sweater is worked top down starting with the back and front yokes, then joined at the underarms and worked in one piece to hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round. The neckband is worked from picked up stitches around the neckline.
