Hello fellow knitter! These socks were named after my late grandmother, Brit. She was an incredibly kind and patient woman, and a speedy sock knitter. Even in her later years, marked by severe dementia and poor eye sight, she could whip out socks in no time. Here I have used on of my favourite traditional Nordic colourwork charts. The pattern is easily memorisable, and you’ll have a pair of socks finished before you know it. You can knit these socks toe-up and cuff-down as seen in the left- and right-hand columns, respectively.
