Briogarter Sweater
This top-down sweater is written for DK or worsted weight yarn. Begin your seamless sweater adventure with a folded hem collar and continue knitting single color saddles shoulders in brioche stitch. The top front and top back of the yoke are picked up from the saddle shoulders and knit flat in garter stitch. Then, when you are about halfway finished with the yoke, you join all the sections together to work garter stitch in the round. The remaining sweater features lots of relaxing garter stitch with brioche ribbed details along the arm and down the sides of the body. Twisted ribbing frames the bottom of the sweater and cuffs. Choose a cozy woolly yarn like La Bien Aimée Corrie Worsted or West Wool Tandem and enjoy your new sweater!

Finished Measurements

The Sleeve, Body, & Yoke lengths are customizable.
Shown in Size 6 on a 44″ / 112cm chest circumference with about 8″ / 20cm of positive ease for a loose relaxed fit.
The sweater is designed to fit with approximately 2 – 8″ / 5 – 20cm of positive ease. I recommend selecting a size that is approximately 2 – 8″ / 5 – 20cm larger than your actual chest circumference, depending on the amount of ease you want.

This pattern works well with DK or Worsted weight yarns.
Check your gauge with your chosen yarn to get the best fit.
Achieving a similar stitch gauge is most important because the length is customizable based on the number of rows that you knit for your top-down sweater.
