This pattern was designed for Round 4 of Sock Madness 19, and is now publicly available.

The pattern is intended for a full skein plus one mini skein of sock yarn.

These socks were the result of experiments to see if intarsia in the round techniques could be applied to brioche (they can!)

Sample socks are size 3. Yarn used in green sample socks is Woolberry Fiber Co. Berry Sock Set in “Garland Ave”.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) to fit a foot/leg circumference of 7.5 (8.5, 9.5, 10.5)”/19 (22, 24, 27) cm. Foot and leg length are adjustable.
Because of how much brioche stretches sideways, the actual stitch counts on this sock are lower than typical socks. The sizes were designed for an equivalent stockinette sock with 54 (62, 70, 78) sts and approx. 10% negative ease in circumference; please choose your size accordingly.
