This buttoned cowl is can be made with range of yarn weights from Aran to Bulky. The instructions show both Bulky and Aran yarns and are written for both weights. Each is made with one hank of yarn. Bobble buttons are worked as you go or use regular 1” buttons. You can personalize the amount of fringe, depending on you taste and yarn remaining after completing the knitting.

The st st gauge for the aran weight yarn is 18 sts and 24 rows = 4”
