This quick project will put the finishing touch on any plain dress or top. Wear the belt with or without the ribbon, depending on your mood or style. It can be worn with just about any color, and you have the option of weaving any color ribbon through the center. An amazing thing about this yarn is the fact it seems to magically stretch, so go ahead and order dessert!

The yarn I used does not have any elastic in it, but it has some “give” when used on this belt. Maybe it’s the stitch pattern. When I put a photo of this on Facebook, someone e made the comment that it would go with the “Steampunk” style.
