CONSTRUCTION
Bonnet is worked from the Brim to back neck in one piece. Sides and back of Bonnet are seamed together.
MATERIALS
180 yards of worsted weight wool yarn
2 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (100% American Targhee-Columbia wool; 140 yards/50g)

GAUGE
19 stitches & 36 rows = 4” in garter stitch with Size A needle(s), after blocking (Bonnet Body)
20 stitches & 40 rows = 4” in garter stitch with Size B needle(s), after blocking (Straps)
42-stitch panel from Chart measures 7” wide after blocking
NEEDLES
Size A (for Bonnet):
One 16” circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed for Bonnet Body
Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7)
Size B (for Straps and Edging):
One each 16” and 24” circular needles one size smaller than Size A needle
Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6)
FINISHED DIMENSIONS
16” width at Brim; 13½“ Strap length; 8½” depth
To fit head size of 20-22”
