Brightheart is soft and feminine; the structure of the lace is highlighted by softly waving lines of contrast.

Needles
US #4 / 3.5mm and US #6 / 4tmm (or as required to meet gauge)
for sizes 0 - 4 years: 16” circulars and DPNs in each size*
for sizes 4 yrs - XS: 16” circulars, 24” circulars, and DPNs in each size*
for sizes S - 4XL: 16” circulars, 32” circulars, and DPNs in each size*

• Alternatively you can use the magic loop technique to knit smaller diameter tubes on a long circular needle

Gauge
22 sts & 30 rounds / 4” in stockinette on larger needles

Notions
darning needle, stitch markers, spare needle in US #4 / 3.5mm, a 3.25mm needle, locking stitch markers, and two 5/8” heart buttons.
