Brie is a granny stripe, cropped, boat neck, batwing jumper made out of only two panels worked in a traditional granny stripe stitch. There are no sleeves to attach and it requires minimal sewing to join, so this is a fantastic beginner crochet garment, especially if you’re used to the granny stitch!

Available in size XS-5X, the granny stripe stitch is so fun to hook and works up super quickly, so you could have this project finished in a long weekend. It’s like a wearable blanket: snuggly, roomy and you can actually leave the house in it. Brie makes the ideal scrap-buster too!

The sizing is a little unusual on this garment as it correlates to your wrist-to-wrist measurement (when arms are outspread) and the circumference of your hip/waist. When choosing the right size for this garment, I recommend sticking to the bust measurement closest to yours.

Hip sizes given as XS (S/M, L/XL, 2X/3X, 4X/5X): 91 (107, 127, 145, 162) cm, requiring 1339 (1516, 1693, 1870, 2047) metres of DK yarn.

This pattern is available in both UK & US terminology so you don’t have to translate stitches!
