Bridge of Roses
Portland, the City of Roses, was our host city for Sock Summit 2011! Because this event was so special for us Sock-aholics, we created this special toe-up design to capture the feeling that makes Portland such an awesome place to live or visit. Rose vine-covered columns flow up the front and back of the leg, and then join to form the bridges that are so prominent in Portland’s cityscape. A series of smaller bridges provides a decorative cuff, and the sock is finished with embroidered roses.
This pattern is written for the DPNs, Two Circs, and Magic Loop methods, and the directions contain text and charts. Bridge of Roses is written for Narrow, Medium, and Wide widths.
