Crochet Hook - Size G-6 (4 mm)
Sewing needle and white thread
Small silver heart charm or button

Gauge: 2 Crocodile stitches (see pattern for explanation) = about 4 in. (10 cm)

Special Stitches:
Edc (extended double crochet)
V-st (V-stitch)
Crocodile stitch

Shawl is worked from lower back point upwards in Crocodile and V-sts. Stitches are increased on each to create a triangle.

Rows of V-sts are alternated with rows of Crocodile stitches.

A charm or button is sewed to the Shawl and can be pulled through the stitches to fasten the Shawl.
