Bria is a sophisticated open-front cardigan that will easily be a new go-to favorite anytime you need an extra layer. This is an elegant sweater that features a textured body, framed by wide striped bands that add both color and extra warmth. This cardigan is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. The striped collar is worked together with the front pieces using simple intarsia, with the collar pieces extending to meet at the back neck. This beauty is worked in Valley Yarns Northfield, which blends baby alpaca, Merino wool, and silk to create a DK weight yarn that is soft, cozy warm, and has a slight sheen and beautiful drape. Texture pattern is both charted and written out.
